If he is swaddled, I unwrap him to wake him up more. Then as he falls asleep I will lightly touch or tickle his feet or back to wake him up. It also helps if I change him right before feeding to wake him up.

Following. Having this issue with my baby. I think that’s why she’s waking up often in the middle of the night

I have the same problem.. I try everything- tickling her feet, hand express to remind her, talk to her and even change her half way through to try to wake her up a bit!

Change their diaper, unswaddle or take off their clothes, skin to skin, or in my case set him in the bassinet and he will wake up immediately lol. It takes a lot to get him to sleep in there

I basically tickle everything lol...her cheeks, her feet, her back, top of her head & her palms. I will also gently swing her arm up & down and feed skin to skin

I change their diaper before feeding and that helps. I’ll have them with me when I walk to the kitchen to start their bottle. If they fall asleep during the feeding, I’ll gently tickle their feet, blow on their face, unswaddle
