That's the million dollar question. It seems that my area is a Puritan community when it comes to tie ups and bondage in general. LOL

I would recommend letting people know your age up front to avoid any potential legal fiascos

As @gaggedrock29 says it is difficult. You need a person you can trust implicitly. A person who would honour the use of a safe word. An old friend, a partner. On no account let a stranger tie you up.

That said I am guessing from your screen name you are from The States and from what I read here and elsewhere attitudes to bondage are generally more liberal than elsewhere.

This is actually becoming a more talked about subject around here it seems. Which I approve of!

There are many of us out there that like bondage with zero sexual play or if any, very little. I prefer zero but pending on the other person, I could be open to a little. Unfortunately it seems as though we are spread far (no surprise given we are in a minority) apart but we do exist! I've been fortunate to find a few via this site. One's kind of local, the others are out of the area but we've still been able to meet up. Idk if it was fate or I just got lucky but it's working for me right now. Wish I could provide more info but I'm glad to see more folks interested in this subject!

I suppose you dont want it to become a dating site, but I think it’s great that this is a safe space and that I think we should all try and talk to each other a bit more and make friendships here. I’ve tried hard recently and everyone’s been so great

It's by no means easy to find anyone with no sexual interest when it comes to this anymore. I grew up playing cops and robbers and Army type games tying the prisoner up and tickling was the torture. Now it's all yeah the simple stuff is cool until the conversation gets going then the ballgags and dick sucking come out.

I truly believe there is a huge interest in tug games but the simple fact is you don't know who to trust anymore. If anyone finds that please let me know cuz I've been looking for years.

No I definitely don't think this should become a dating site. I pretty much like it how it is. But I definitely think more of us should start chating and making friendships. I mean that's basically what happened for me. I started with some back and fourth banter in the comments in stories with my 2 current playmates. Eventually that banter led to PM's then to another platform we use to chat to this day. From there, alot of chating, exchanging pics so we knew what each other looked like and ultimately meeting up. So this wasn't like a date and more of just a 1st step into find others with similar interests!

I never really did the whole cops and robbers thing and I'm not big into role-playing but I can entertain it a little. But as far as trusting someone, I know that can be difficult. Trust is a big factor. But just because I break out the ball gag or other professional restraints, doesn't mean I want the scene to go sexual. I am ace so unless you are my actual partner, sex isn't happening. And even then, it's not something I normally want. I will admit there's been somethings I previously said I would never be interested in but honestly I only need to tie someone or be tied (if in a rare switch mood) to enjoy bondage.

So if you are looking for someone genuine, that's normally only interested in bondage itself with zero sexual stuff, here's the proof we exist.

I totally agree. To be honest I've actually found ballgags to be more comfortable so my comments were getting the dirty words out there that everyone finds as a turn off. In reality it works, helps with the fun, and let's everyone know you can still have innocent fun with this and not go totally hard core.

I'd rather have fun with it than have to worry to much about the other's intentions. I have had a couple times that I've met people who changed it up on me and luckily I have a knack for escaping. I have been following this site since it first came online 20 some years ago. I think it's great. At the same time I think people forget what it's really about.

Long story short if you're cool with me, I'm cool with you. I just have a lot of respect for this stuff, and it makes it difficult at times.

I've often wished I had someone too, but inwould never ask anyone i know.

Im in a committed relationship with someone with zero intest in tugs.

But I also would worry if I do meet someone who is willing to tie me ( with zero sexual activity involved) if I'm crossing a boundary and betraying my partner in some way.

I can imagine most of us are searching, but probably the best way to find a tie up buddy is to just find a genuinely amicable person first, then move on from there?

Like focus on being a friend first, then approach them about this sort of thing

Been there. Married, no less. Lesson learned? Complete open communication about needs and wants is necessary with the significant other, otherwise somebody gets emotionally hurt. Depending on the strength of certain desires, the results of these conversations may not seem ideal (relationship ending), but should prove optimal in the long run.
