What does the blood of Jesus purify?
1 John 1:7 & 9, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Then the blood of Jesus, God's Son, cleanses us from every sin. If we say we have no sin, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right.
As Hebrews 9:14 explains, the blood of Christ, shed for our sake, cleanses “our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” For all who trust in Christ, we are washed in his blood, fully cleansed from sin so that we may serve him! Lord Jesus, you wash us and make us fully clean.
According to the gospel, Mary and Joseph took the baby Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem forty days after his birth to complete Mary's ritual purification after childbirth, and to perform the redemption of the firstborn, in obedience to the Law of Moses, Leviticus 12, Exodus 13:12-15.
The Bible teaches that a penitent believer who confesses his sin reaches the blood of Jesus when he is baptized (immersed in water) into the death of Jesus (Acts 2:38; Rom. 10:9-10; 6:3-4). He does this by convicting us of sin and leading us to repentance. Through repentance, He wipes out what was dirty in us and allows us to bear good fruit.
What does the Bible mean by purify?
Hebrews 1:1-4
This points to one of the main teachings in the book of Hebrews. Jesus “provided purification for sins.” Notice also that Jesus has already done this for us. It is something in the past. Purification means being made pure or clean again. When humanity fell into sin, it tainted everything about us.

The Things that the Blood of Jesus speaks are many, and very comfortable. The Import of what it speaks is; that the full Price of our Redemption from Sin, Wrath and Ruin, is paid down; and that the Way to GOD and Glory is laid open, by Virtue of it.
In spiritual warfare, the Blood of Jesus Christ is a very powerful weapon that gives us victory over satan and all his acolytes. It is both an offensive and defensive weapon.
It is only the Blood of JESUS that has the capacity to take our sins away. The Blood of JESUS is spotless and sinless. It is only JESUS' Blood that has the REQUISITE QUALITY of Blood for our redemption and atonement. The Blood of JESUS is not the Blood of the fallen Adam, nor the blood of goats and demons.

What is the spiritual power of blood?
The main task of the blood consists of offering the spirit the radiations it requires. These radiations depend on the composition of the blood. Each blood component--red blood cells, proteins, minerals, etc. --plays its role in the formation of the overall radiation.
The blood's radiation is what connects body to spirit and serves as a means of communication between the two. Any deficiencies in the blood's composition directly affect our spirit's ability to stay connected to our physical body.
The Catholic Church proclaims this as a Eucharistic Miracle, and believes the flesh and blood that the bread and wine changed into to be the true Body and Blood of Christ. Therefore, the Church professes that Jesus Christ's blood type was AB!
Pleading the blood is not begging God to do something. It is not a statement of unbelief or fear! Pleading the blood activates what happened through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is asking God to provide what Jesus' blood has already purchased. It's a statement of faith about what happened at Calvary.
