Disconnect the UAFX pedal's 9VDC power supply. Press and hold the PAIR button on the rear panel while reconnecting power. Continue holding the PAIR button until all LEDs on the pedal begin to blink (approximately 10-15 seconds), then release the PAIR button.
You can store a preset you've created with your own settings by holding down the ALT/AMP/STORE switch until the green PRESET footswitch LED blinks rapidly (about 0.5 seconds).
Tap the pedal tile on the home screen to open your pedal's configuration. The tile animates while the app connects, and the Register Pedal screen appears if the pedal is not currently registered to your UA account. Tap the Register Pedal button to register your UAFX pedal.
