Protected/anonymized WHOIS info = A good indication of scam (in most cases).

Surely, a legitimate essay company would not use such a terrible name? It's absolutely awful! A friend of mine used this company. Unfortunately, she did not receive her essay on time. The essay was also below standard and they refused to refund her.

Evidence indicates that the owner of NerdEssays.com is an Asian (likely Vietnamese) man by the purported name of "Edward."
He also goes by "Mike." See: community.vdict.com/member.php?u=31378
He spams under the moniker of "mikeyessays."
Mr. also owns ilessays.com, which forwards to NerdEssays.com.

That could be a reason why they (illegally) advertise they do 'online classes.' ... and giving the legitimate services bad press.

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you know this?
You don't have to worry about "how I know." I like to keep crooks at a disadvantage.

Smirk:
There is nothing wrong with nerds :] Nerdessays just doesn't make a good professional name. But, that is personal oppinion so it isn't very important. What is important is that the site is another scam.

Oh I'm sorry :[ You don't like my promo! :[[[[ But, then you can't have geekessays... unless we can develop it into some kind of computer game. That should spark the interest of some geeks.

A quick look indicates that they claim they've been in business for at least four years, and yet all transactions are done by PayPal and they require 50% up front. Plus, all of the staff pictures are broken links. Though they do offer to meet in person if desired... so it's mixed messages for me.
Caveat emptor. I think that's as much as I can say.

The company is now out of business. It is likely that the name did not catch on with the students and, their work, even far less. The owner of the site, at that time, was definitely Vietnamese, but not an experienced capitalist. He could be described more as a kid whose folks had too much money to spare so they indulged his whims and caprices, which included setting up an academic essay company. He got tired of his "toy" and shut it down.

The company is now out of business.
Not so anymore. Someone has bought the domain name and intends to revive it as an essay writing site. The domain name Was actually purchased just this year. I do not believe the original people involved in the business are staging a comeback. Since the site is listed as coming soon rather than returning, it is a safe bet that a new team of players are involved in the operations of the new company. As the company maybe considered reborn, it would be best to give them a chance to prove themselves upon their relaunch. I will observe and comment about their services when the right time comes. As of now, let us await their opening with anticipation.
