The DEWALT ranks right up there with the Greenworks blower until it comes to the battery. This unit only comes with a 3.0 amp hour battery and doesn’t have a fast charger. This battery will only run for about 10 to 15 minutes, and then it needs 1 ½ to two hours to recharge.

The TECCPO 20V 310CFM is a lightweight leaf blower that’s simple for anyone of any age to use. It has two-speed selections with a maximum air speed of 85 MPH. It is perfect for those small jobs of blowing light objects. It doesn’t have enough power to blow heavier objects, such as wet leaves.
One thing we wish this blower had is a trigger lock to hold the power button on. As it is, you have to press the button the whole time. When you take your finger off the trigger, the blower stops. A fully charged battery only lasts for about ten minutes before it dies. That may save your fingers but makes larger jobs take longer to complete. For the money, this is the best cordless leaf blow we have tested.

The battery only lasts about 10 to 15 minutes before it needs to be recharged. You can get a second battery to use while recharging the first, but the batteries themselves are pretty expensive. This leaf blower is recommended for those who don’t have a ton of trees and just want to clear off their deck or patio.

6. WORX WG545.9 Leaf Blower (Cordless)
The WORX WG545.9 leaf blower is easy to use and store. It comes with eight attachments to help direct air for different jobs. Unfortunately, it does not come with a battery and charger. This is a lightweight and reasonably priced product, but once you add in the cost of a battery and charger, plan on the total cost being triple the price of the unit itself.
This blower has an airspeed of 120 MPH but doesn’t put out that much power. For example, you can’t just generally point it at a pile of leaves and expect anything to move. You have to have the nozzle pointed directly at each and every leaf. Another issue is that this product is only useful on a hard surface, such as a deck or driveway. It doesn’t say anything about this on the box. You won’t read about this limitation until you’re reading your instruction manual.

The BLACK+DECKER BEBL7000 Back Pack Leaf Blower is easy to take wherever you need it to go. It has a power boost button that will give you more air pressure when used in blower mode to help get your leaves blown into a pile.
Once they’re all piled up, you can convert it to vacuum mode to suck them up, mulch them down, and place them in a bag that will enlarge up to two times its original size. This bag is zipperless, so you have to either fold it just right or put a clamp on it to seal it. While it’s convenient that you can use this item as both a blower and a vacuum, this requires that you have either a screwdriver or a key to change the housing unit from one use to the other.
The BEBL7000 is made of cheap plastic that will warp easily if it gets too warm. That doesn’t necessarily mean getting too close to a heating source. For those of you in warmer climates, it could just be that your garage gets too warm. When the plastic warps, it doesn’t hold the seal very well.
This blower/vac gets rather heavy if you have to use it for an extended period. It’s excellent for small jobs, but we found it too cumbersome for bigger jobs.
The plastic tubing used in vacuum mode is only secured by a zip tie that breaks quite easily. When it does break, the tubing will slip out of its hole and blow everything that you are sucking up all around you.
